NEW DELHI: Sachin Tendulkar (91) Tuesday registered his 17th score in the 90s, which extended his own world record for the most number of 90s. Tendulkar also has 42 centuries.

Tendulkar, whose contribution was invaluable for the team, for the first time in Australia registered three fifty-plus scores in a row - 63 against Sri Lanka at Hobart, 117 not out against Australia at Sydney and 91 off 121 balls against Australia at Brisbane.

His 91 at Brisbane is his third 50-plus innings at this venue, and he became the first Indian batsman to aggregate 300 runs at Brisbane - 323 (ave.46.14) in 7 matches.
