Murali back for England one-dayers

COLOMBO: Ace spinner Muttiah Muralitharan has returned to Sri Lanka's squad for an upcoming home one-day series against England, selectors announced Tuesday.   

The selectors, however, said Muralitharan's selection was subject to him regaining fitness.   

The off-spinner was ruled out of the ongoing Twenty20 World Championships in South Africa because of a shoulder injury sustained while playing for Lancashire in the English county championship this season.   

Off-spinner Dilruwan Perera is the only newcomer in the squad.   

England will play five one-day internationals in Sri Lanka, with the first match starting in Dambulla on October 1.
