LONDON: Actress Sienna Miller was so touched by an old poem "Desiderata" given by a blind man in Guatemala that she got it engraved on an amulet that she carries with her all the time.

Miller admitted that she was initially shocked when the blind man asked her to take the poem saying it was all about her, reports contactmusic.com. But when she read the words she was shocked because she realised he was right.

She said: "He said, 'It's for you...' I was, like, okay, what is this?'

The poem features the lines, 'You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe in unfolding as it should'.
