NEW DELHI: Soccer aficionados here will get to watch the live action of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup from Canada with Zee Sports telecasting the event from July 1-23.

The competition, which will take place in six Canadian cities of Victoria, Burnaby, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, runs from June 30 to July 22 and will showcase world's top 24 youth teams battling it out for the world title.

Held every two years around the world since 1977, the series has featured some of the best young players in the world like Diego Maradona, Saviola, Raul, Marco Van Basten, Luis Figo, Ruiz Costa, Thierry Henry, Adriano, Roberto Carlos, Bebeto, Dunga, and Canada's newest Hall of Fame inductees Craig Forrest and Domenic Mobilio.

In this edition of the competition, the stars to watch out for include Spaniard Alberto Bueno, who was the top scorer in 2006 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship. He was also in the first team for the Champions League squad of Real Madrid.

Other star attractions will be Carlos Vela from Mexico, who was the golden boot winner at the 2005 U-17 World Cup, Liverpool's Brazilian mid-fielder Lucas Leiva and Argentine forward Sergio Aguero.
