Ranveer to host star opinion poll

The second edition of  ‘Sabse Favourite Kaun’ will have the anchor travelling across the nation to guage the most loved actor

The second edition of the opinion poll ‘Sabsey Favourite Kaun’ (Star Gold) has begun. Here, fans have the freedom to choose their favourite filmstar based on popularity and not performance.

According to a recent report in the Time magazine, the global audience of Bollywood is 3.6 billion as against Hollywood’s 2.6 billion. At the US box office, four movies- ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Fanaa’, ‘Krrish’ and ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’-have already crossed the $2 million mark. And, based on this growing global audience, the express poll van will not only go to national locations but also international locations like Dubai, London and Singapore.

Ranveer Shorey will be the host for the show with Ayesha Takia, Vinay and Suresh Menon.  “I am a huge movie buff and it is nice to hear from the public what they like and dislike about their favourite filmstars. I have a long association with the channel. It is a chance for me to work with Vinay and Suresh, too,” says Ranvir.

“I will be covering various cities in India. The shoot has started and it goes on air on November 12. So far, it is nice to experience the madness and the fervour that the fans display as they talk about their favourites. I have already witnessed a huge fight between Amitabh Bachchan’s and Shah Rukh Khan’s fans. That will be an episode to watch out for,” ends Ranveer.
