The girl scored 95.09% in her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

Bringing immense joy to her family and friends, 16-year-old Shraddha Dhondiram Chougule, daughter of the head constable attached with the Khadak police station, scored 95.09% in her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
City police commissioner, Meeran Chadha Borwankar, was among those who applauded Shraddha’s achievements in the SSC examinations.
Speaking to DNA at the Pune commissonerate, Shraddha said, “I am quite happy and was expecting 85% marks, but
got more. I would like to thank my parents and teachers who supported me all throughout.”
Shraddha is a student of Bharati Vidyapeeth Kanya Prashala at Dhankavdi. Her father Dhondiram said, “She has been a bright student since childhood. She always scored 85% marks, but this year, I was helping her with her studies, as she was appearing for her first board examination.”
“Shraddha studied hard right from the beginning and finally got the reward for her hard work. She wants to become an engineer and then she would prepare for the competitive examinations,” he added.
Shraddha said she wants to become an engineer and would also prepare for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations.
A native of Solapur district, Chougule joined the Maharashtra police force 25 years ago and lives in Katraj with wife Kalpana, two daughters and a son.
