The monsoon has not yet withdrawn from Maharashtra.
In fact, the continuing presence of a cyclonic circulation off the coast of Maharashtra promises one or two spells of rain over Pune and rest of Maharashtra in the next 48 hours. Most parts of the state are expected to get scattered rainfall over the next two days.

However, the monsoon has withdrawn from most parts of Uttar Pradesh, many parts of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and most of northern India.

India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) director (weather central), PCS Rao told DNA on Saturday that an upper air trough on the east coast will result in scattered rainfall occurring across the entire peninsular India in the next two days.
