DNA seminar helps clear doubts

The two-day DNA seminar at Nehru Centre on redevelopment has cleared doubts of almost 550-odd people.

Dinesh Shah said the word ‘redevelopment’ is buzzing in the island city. “A majority of the buildings are dilapidated and urgently need to be reconstructed. People have been staying in small houses for the several decades and they desperately need bigger houses. I am happy that DNA has taken this initiative by calling state housing minister Sachin Ahir, civic chief Subodh Kumar and experts,” he said.

DNA told people that they could consult experts free of cost in their offices even after the seminar. People just need to show the registration receipt of the seminar.

“Now, I feel more capable to handle developers and understand their complex offers and legalities. Some society members, who have gone through the redevelopment process by developing their society, were also present,” said Ramesh Desphande from Parel.

“I liked the DNA seminar where everything from developers to field experts were available under one roof. Stalls of several prominent developers were also there. We got a fair idea of redevelopment. I request DNA to organise such useful seminar in all parts of the city,” said Rajesh Malde from Matunga.
