Part of skywalk near Dahisar station collapses, one severely injured

A slab of the skywalk near Dahisar railway station collapsed on Tuesday. The incident happened around 7.45 pm and one passerby got a head injury as the slab collapsed upon him.

The victim, 56-year-old Sunil Kulkarni, was admitted in Silver Hospital in Dahisar and is under treatment for the severe head injury. However, the victim is stable, BMC officials said.

BMC will investigate the cause of the slab collapse, officials said.
