Iranian woman and son stranded outside Mumbai's T2 for 3 nights

During her stay she was robbed of most of the money she had as well as her valuables.

An Iranian woman and her son were stranded outside Terminal 2 of the international airport in Mumbai, Mid-Day reports. The woman has been robbed in Bengaluru and lost her phone on the way to Mumbai. Officials at the airport reached out to Iran Air, which helped her get back to her country.

According to the report, 35 year old Alinejad Kohnehshahri Mina had arrived in Mumbai with 5 year old son, Mohammadanial, and travelled to Bengaluru on February 20. She was in the city to take part in an English speaking course. During her stay she was robbed of most of the money she had as well as her valuables.  

With the help of a friend Mina was able to get back to Mumbai on March 10, where she had a return ticket to Iran for March 12. With nowhere to go and very little money in hand, Mina and her son spent the time remaining till her return at the T2.

When the airport officials noticed her and understood her predicament, they contacted Iran Air to help her get back.
