Eknath Khadse launches Jain Alpsankhyak Seva Santhan's portal

Minority affairs minister Eknath Khadse on Thursday launched website of the Jain Alpsankhyak Seva Santhan (JASS). Through this website http://www.jass.in, all community members can apply for free Jain ID cards to avail the benefits of central and state governments schemes for minority class.

Jain Alpsankhyak is working towards the development of needy children in the field of education and health care.

JASS runs the medical centre in Dadar, where the organisation is distributing medicines at up to 80% discount for the weaker section of the community. Apart from this, JASS is also actively conducting scholarships programmes and many more social services.

JASS vice president and member of state minority commission Sanjay Shah said, "We are committed towards the upliftment of the weaker section of Jain community in India, and through this website, we are able to fulfil our commitment to the society."

"We have been working on this front for the past two decades within our circle, but with this website we can go beyond it and serve the deserving children who can't afford education, health and other such basic necessities for which they need funds and government help," he added.
