The Amboli police have filed a 250-page charge sheet in the Andheri Court against two persons for allegedly killing model-actor Kritika Chaurhary, 27, at her Andheri West residence.

The police have recorded the statements of 27 persons and submitted a report of Kalina Forensic Science Laboratory. On June 12, Kritika Chaudhary was found dead in her Bhairavnath society house in Andheri West.

The post mortem report confirmed that Chaudhary was murdered. Various teams were formed to investigate the murder case and in July, a special investigating police team nabbed Basudas alias Badshah Das, 40, and Shakeel Khan, 33, from Panvel.

The accused claimed that Chaudhary was addicted to drugs and had dues worth Rs 6,000 to pay. When the accused went to collect the money pending, a verbal fight led to an assault and then her death. The murder weapon — a knuckle duster — has been submitted in the court.

A senior police officer from Amboli police station confirmed the development and said, "We have also submitted the CCTV camera footage of the accused, who are seen leaving the building four days before the body was found," said the officer.
