CM Fadnavis addresses Sena ministers' grouse of inequitable distribution of govt schemes and funds

After Shiv Sena ministers and legislators voiced their grouse about their counterparts in the BJP getting preference in the distribution of government schemes and funds in their constituencies, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stepped in to do away with these grievances.

During a meeting with a Sena delegation on Friday, Fadnavis promised to do away with these discrepancies in the ongoing Budget Session in the assembly. The issue of inequitable distribution of funds and alleged discrimination had come up in a meeting of Shiv Sena ministers and legislators with party president Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday.

Thackeray had also spoken to Fadnavis on the issue. Environment minister Ramdas Kadam said Fadnavis had promised them equitable distribution of funds. Public works (public undertakings) minister Eknath Shinde indicated that the Shiv Sena would insist on agriculture loan waivers to provide succor to farmers.
