dna is back with the second edition of Short Cuts, Mumbai's biggest Short film festival happening on Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30 2014.

With the enthusiastic response in 2013, in its second instalment, it offers a unique platform for aspiring independent and student film makers. This mega short film festival powered by Shamiana Shorts will be conducted in two engaging and interactive phases. 

What is in store?

Short Film Making Contest: In the first phase, dna invites you to send in your short film entries as part of the short film making competition. A jury comprising of eminent personalities shall short list the winning entries. The top 5 winning entries will be showcased as part of the festival in phase 2. The subject for the films has been left open to your imagination for you to explore and send in your short films across genres.

Who can submit entires?

Short films can be made by anyone who has a flair for making and watching good cinema. It could be students, aspiring filmmakers, amateurs, professionals, film students and other enthusiastic people. Winners stand a chance to showcase their short films alongside Oscar nominated and winning short films.

Short Film Festival and Workshop:

A grand two–day Festival where dna invites you to watch and experience the best short films and also participate in workshops with eminent personalities. The films will range from Fiction to Reality, Oscar Winning to Indian Specials, Horror to Comedy, Romance to Regional films and much more.
