Commercial structures having unauthorised projections, extentions, claddings, weather frames, sheds and frame works, among others were bulldozed by the civic body.

Around 40 commercial establishments in Raghuvanshi Mills in Lower Parel were razed action by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Friday.
Commercial structures having unauthorised projections, extentions, claddings, weather frames, sheds and frame works, among others were bulldozed by the civic body.
The BMC sealed Hotel Zen Cafe for not having license or fire noc. The basement of Krishna Silk Industry was also sealed for occupying more than 5000 sq ft area and storing 7 tonnes of inflammable silk cloth rolls.
Action was also taken against the following: restaurants, furniture showrooms, tiles showrooms, sanitaryware showrooms, marble showrooms, wallpaper showrooms, electrical appliances showrooms, design studios, offices, Mercedes service centre, etc.
"In the past two day's joint inspection, demolition work was carried out by fire department officials, building factories department, license department, shops and establishments assessment department, etc. We have seized one bhatti and three cylinders," said Devendra Jain, G-North Ward officer.
Demolition was carried out in 26 blocks including Raghuvanshi Mills.
