Delhi auto expo: Success of JLR impossible without Tata Motors' support, says CEO Ralf Speth

Jaguar Land Rover launched the all-new Made in India XE sedan at the Auto Expo 2016 on Wednesday. The all-new car has been launched at a competitive Rs 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

While speaking at the company's stand at the Delhi expo, JLR's CEO Ralf Speth attributed the success of JLR to Tata Motors' support. 

"The success of JLR would not have been possible without the support of our current company Tata Motors. On behalf of the JLR team, I want to take this opportunity to say thank you, to Ratan Tata and to our chairman Cyrus Mistry."

He added, that due to Tata's long term sustainable investment in the company, and in the five years that the company's facility has been around in Pune, the company now has the best-in-class service network of 20 premium dealerships in India. 

He added that JLR has grown to become the "biggest manufacturer in UK", so much so that even "Bloomberg named JLR the best place to work in UK," he added. 

The all-new Jaguar XE gets two petrol engines.
