Swiss money: Who's who of the world; From Kerry Packer to Valentino Rossi

From Ambanis to Burmans, the list has the who's who of India.

The Swiss Leaks Projects by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ)  have outed nearly one lakh names of individuals with total money going over $100 billion in HSBC, Geneva. 

The list includes high profile politicians, entrepreneurs, royalties, sportsperson, actors to F1 drivers. 

Some of the names exposed by ICIJ are Joan Collins,King Abdullah II, (King of Jordan), Kerry Packer (media magnate), marat Safin (tennis player), Valentino Rossi (motorcyclist), Diego Forlan (footballer). 

As per a report in an Indian newspaper, among the Indians, Mukhesh and Anil Ambani had a balance of $26.6 million (Rs 165 crore) each.  Both the individuals have denied holding any HSBC overseas account.

ICIJ has specifically mentioned Rajan Biharilal Raheja an Indian conglomerate head. 

The report said that Raheja made his money in the construction business and was also listed as the 33rd-richest person in India in 2014 by the Forbes magazine. 

He has business interests ranging from auto sector to media ventures. 

The leaked files show that Raheja held nearly $262 million in 10 bank accounts with three numbered clients and two bank profiles in HSBC, Geneva.

The Burmans of the Dabur family have nearly $12.5 million (Rs 77.5 crore).

Manu Chhabria family had a balance of $141 million (Rs 874 crore).
