Progressive Jazz fusion band Tribal Tech is all set to enthrall their Indian audiences as the band plays its maiden show in the city tonight. Formed originally in the late 80s, the band was founded by guitarist Scott Hendersonm and bass player Garry Willis. It also included Scott Kinsey on keyboard and Kirk Covington on drums.

The band produced nine albums that stretch the borders between blues, jazz, and rock before it got dissolved following the release of 2000’s Rocket Science, with the various members pursuing solo careers. However, they reunited to produce their new album X — their first studio album in 12 years, and returned with a bang sounding afresh. The act is being brought down to India by musiocian Sandeep Chowta. “We are very delighted to get Tribal Tech in India for the very first time. We have been very successful in bringing down unique Jazz Fusion Bands to perform in India over the last six years,” said Sandeep.

When & Where: Tonight at St. Andrews Auditorium, Bandra, 8 pm onwards
