Barmer boy is Prince of NEET, secures 5 All India Rank

Prince scored 686 out of 720 marks in the medical entrance exam, the results of which were declared by CBSE on Monday.

A young boy of Barmer district, Prince Choudhary, has made the state proud by securing All India Rank 5 in NEET 2018 result. Son of a medical store owner Ramaram and homemaker Kamla Devi in Dhorimana village of the district, Prince scored 686 out of 720 marks in the medical entrance exam, the results of which were declared by CBSE on Monday. 

A Hindi medium student till Class 10, Chaudhary said he owed his success in NEET result 2018 to his family and teachers.

He got 94.17% marks in Class 10 board examination and 93.6% marks in Class 12 exams conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education. Apart from Choudhary, a large number of students from Jaipur have passed the exam with flying colours. In fact, out of the top 100 ranks, five have been bagged by the students of the city. 

Nishtha Agarwal Gupta has secured 42nd rank, Ayushi Mittal has secured 58th rank, Riya Singh has secured 62nd rank while Jitendra Yadav and Vidhushi Varshney secured 96 and 100 ranks respectively.

Not only this, 19 students of the city are in top 500 of the medical entrance examination which is a gateway to admission in premier medical colleges. 

Most of the students attributed their success to hard. They revealed that studying for over six hours did all the trick for them and there is no shortcut to success. The examination was held on May 7. About 28,000 students in Jaipur had appeared for the same at about 63 centres across the city.

Ashish Arora, academic head of a private institute said, “It is for the second time in the history of Jaipur that 5 students are among national top 100.”

A large number of students from Jaipur have passed the exam with flying colours. In fact, out of the top 100 ranks, five have been bagged by the students of the city. Not only this, 19 students of the city are in top 500. About 28,000 students in Jaipur had appeared for the exam.
