Women Congress workers perform 'Yagna' for Sonia Gandhi's recovery

A group of women belonging to state Congress today performed Yagna (worship) and offered prayers for the speedy recovery of party president Sonia Gandhi, who has undergone a surgery at a US hospital.

Workers of the Dehradun City Women's Congress Committee, led by President Kamlesh Raman, offered prayers and performed Yagna at Panchyat Temple here.

Gandhi, 64, underwent a successful surgery for an undisclosed ailment in a US hospital on August 4.
