SpiceJet flight 136 from Bengaluru to Delhi reportedly made an emergency at the Delhi airport on Friday morning. The flight had to make the emergency landing due to hydraulic failure, according to ANI.

PTI's airport sources say that the landing was made due to "technical issue".

However, the airline released a statement denying that its flight had made an emergency landing. It said, "SpiceJet strongly denies reports in a section of media that its flight SG 136 (Bangalore – Delhi) made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport today morning. As per procedure the crew of SG 136 had informed the ATC of a technical problem. At no stage did the crew request for any emergency or priority landing. The aircraft made an uneventful landing at the Delhi airport. All passengers and crew are safe. The ATC was kept in the loop by the crew all throughout.

Meanwhile, the national capital has been facing delays in train services and flight operations due to moderate to dense fog in the morning hours. The MeT department has predicted light rains for Friday afternoon.
