In yet another incident of apathy, a leg broken lady patient was dragged by relatives in the government hospital in Maharashtra due to unavailability of stretchers.

A video of the incident that took place in government hospital of Nanded has gone viral on social media sites.

In a video, two women can be seen dragging a leg broken relative on a bed-sheet.

The woman had come to the hospital as her leg was fractured. She was treated and was released after her leg was plastered. But since there were no stretchers, the relatives took her to the hospital gate by dragging her on a bed-sheet.

However, as the video went viral, authorities said that victim's relatives were asked to wait for five minutes as workers had gone to drop someone, but they left the place without telling anyone.

Meanwhile, the hospital has also constituted a committee to probe the incident.

Hospital superintendent Chandrakant Mhaske said that action will be taken if anyone found responsible.
