RC Agrawal Trust launches initiative to educate girl child in city

Dainik Bhaskar Group has set up a trust in remembrance of former chairman Late Ramesh Chandra Agrawal. The RC Agrawal Charitable Trust works towards educating girls belonging to underprivileged sectors in Bhopal. The trust has directed The Sanskaar Valley School management to run three centres across the city to provide girls from poor families with high quality education for free.

The initial plan is to take in 1,000 girls every year, starting from 2017-18, and to bear all the expenses, from books to tuition fee, for their education. The Trust will also organise vocational training courses for the girls.

Of the three centres two have already started functioning, one at The Sanskaar Valley School and the second in MP Nagar. The third centre will be inaugurated on August 16 in Old City area. The trust spread the centres across the city to help girls from every corner of the city.

RC Agrawal Trust plans to open centres in other cities in the future as well.
