Jammu and Kashmir: 3 NC Minority Cell leaders resign, join Congress

Pandita said that they have resigned from the National Conference because of some "wrong polices and not taking members into confidence in different matters regarding migrant problems."

Three National Conference (NC) leaders on Wednesday resigned from the party and joined the Congress. "M N Pandita, Convenor and Spokesman of National Conference Minority Cell alongwith ML Labroo and Karan Choudhary, members of the NC Minority Cell (NCMC) resigned from the NCMC and joined the Migrant Cell of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee", a Congress spokesman said on Wednesday.

Pandita said that they have resigned from the National Conference because of some "wrong polices and not taking members into confidence in different matters regarding migrant problems." He said that they were impressed with the policies and programs of Indian National Congress (INC) and its efforts for the betterment of Kashmiri migrant.

Hence they alongwith their supporters have joined Congress party and have full faith in the leadership of JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmed Mir, spokesman said. Hira Lal Pandita, Chairman JKPCC Migrant Cell has hailed the decision of Pandita, Labroo and Choudhary and welcomed them into the party alongwith their supporters at a function here today. He appreciated their efforts to highlight the problems of the displaced community.
