A soldier was arrested at Srinagar airport after two grenades were found in his baggage, on Monday morning.

According to initial information, he was caught by the ant-hijacking force while he was about to board a flight to Delhi.

Bhopal Mukhiya of Jammu and Kashmir Rifles​ was posted in the Uri sector, near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. 

According to ANI, a jawan belongs to Darjeeling and has accepted he was carrying grenades for causing blast in rivers to catch fish.

He has reportedly admitted to the involvement of junior level officers.

He is being interrogated.
