Hundreds of Netaji supporters - including his relatives, hit the streets demanding declassification of Netaji files in Kolkata on Tuesday. "Our sole demand from the Modi-led Central government is that all secret files of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose must be declassified. The nation will know the truth once the files are declassified," said Abhijit Ray, grand nephew of Netaji.

This apart, the kin of Netaji also demanded the declassification of files lying with the West Bengal state government. "As many as 64 files have been lying with the West Bengal government and have not yet been classified. We have written to the state government twice, but it has fallen on deaf ears," said DN Ghosh, Netaji's grandson.

These Netaji supporters walked from Central Avenue till INA Bhawan to register their protest against the delay in declassifying the Netaji files.

However, the niece-in-law Krishna Bose and her son Sugata Bose, who is also the Trinamool Congress MP from Jadavpur, were missing in the rally.
