In an extraordinary event on Friday, four of the senior most judges of the Supreme Court of India addressed a press conference.

Supreme Court Judges Kurian Joseph, J.Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi and Madan Lokur addressed the media to highlight the allegedly improper administration functioning at the apex court.

"We don't want the nation to blame us after 20 years that four of us did not take steps. The judges said that the administration of the country's highest court was not in order and warned that democracy would not survive in the country unless the institution was preserved," Judge J Chelameswar said.

The judges said that the administration of the country's highest court was not in order and warned that democracy would not survive in the country unless the institution was preserved.

Four of us have been telling the CJI Dipak Misra to correct his ways for the sake of the institution, says Justice Chelameswar. "We have spotted things in the last few months. Tried to intervene but to no avail. Twenty years from now, the nation should not say we sold our souls. "

"We tried to collectively tell the CJI that certain things in the administration of the SC is not in order. Unfortunately our efforts failed. So we are saying this before the nation," he added.

Now, all four judges have released the copy of their letter to the CJI. "The selective assignment of cases by the CJI to selective Benches "for no apparent reason," stated the letter.

"We collectively tried to persuade the CJI that certain things aren't in order so take remedial measures but unfortunately our efforts failed,” said Justice Chelameswar.

Following is the copy of the letter released by the Judges.
