Delhi has the youngest cabinet

The average age of Arvind Kejriwal government is merely 42 years and is one of the youngest cabinets in the country. However, the cabinet of last AAP government was a year younger when the average age was 41.

The average age of Arvind Kejriwal government is merely 42 years and is one of the youngest cabinets in the country. However, the cabinet of last AAP government was a year younger when the average age was 41.

Health and Power Minister Satyendar Jain (50) is the oldest minister in AAP government while 33-year-old Sandeep Kumar, who is handling Women and Child Development and SC and ST Welfare Minister, is the youngest of the lot.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is himself 46-year-old while his deputy Manish Sisodia is 43. Food and Civil Supplies, Environment and Forest and Election Minister is 38-year-old while Home and Law and Justice Minister Jitendra Singh Tomar is 48-year-old. Senior AAP leader and Transport and Labour Minister Gopal Rai is 40-year-old.

In the last cabinet, Labour Minister Girish Soni was the oldest, followed by Jain, while Rakhi Birla was the youngest cabinet minister holding the charge of Women and Child Welfare department.
