A BJP leader in MP has threatened to break Congress MP Jyotiradiya Scindia's hands and chop off his tongue if he dared challenge MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhdan.

Speaking at a public meeting in Kolaras in Shivpuri, Radhe Shyam Dhakad alleged that if Jyotiradiya Scindia poses a challenge to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, it would be also challenging the Kiran and Dhakad communities.

He said: "Agar vo (Scindia) Shivraj ji ke khilaf ungli uthayenge, to hum unke hath tod denge. Agar vo CM ke khilaf bolenge, to hum unki zuban kaat lenge (If he points a finger at the CM, we will break his hands and if he speaks against the CM, we will chop off his tongue)."

Dhakad had contested the Assembly elections, from Rahogarh on BJP ticket in 2013. He also questioned the Scindias contribution to the state during irts rule.
The MP CM's son Kartikeya Singh Chouhan, who was campaigning, for BJP candidates was also present.

Kartikeya Singh Chouhan, who is set to launch his career, said: "

Kartikey Singh Chouhan, son of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has launched his career in state politics.

Addressing a rally here, where bypolls are due, Kartikey has hit out at Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and said, 'An MP has asked my father to run away. This is politics at its lowest. People are watching all of this and will reply appropriately.'

"My father has no enmity with anyone. He doesn't want to fight anyone. He only wants to fight poverty,' he added.
The Sunday's public gathering at Shivpuri was Kartikey's first outside Budhni, the Vidhan Sabha constituency of his father.

The bypoll in Kolaras constituency was necessitated after the death of Congress MLA Ram Singh Yadav in October.
The constituency is important for both the BJP and Congress.
The Election Commission is, however, yet to announce a date for the byelection.
