#3 Oil ministry asks GAIL, CPCL to stop payment to Reliance
In what could be another major blow for Reliance Industries (RIL), oil ministry has directed the company's customers GAIL India and Chennai Petroleum Corp (CPCL) to deposit their next payment for purchase of crude oil and natural gas from the KG D6 basin to the government accounts instead of remitting it to the company in an attempt to recover the government's profit share due from the Mumbai-based company. Read more

He was speaking on Monday at a function where Bhujbal's lieutenant in Vidarbha, Kishor Kanhere, joined Sena. Based in Nagpur, Kanhere was a functionary of Bhujbal's Mahatma Phule Samata Parishad, a front of the other backward classes (OBCs), especially the Mali (gardener) community to which Bhujbal belongs to. Read more 

#5 Laptops, hard disks seized from houses of youths 'fighting' for ISIS in Iraq
The special branch of Mumbai police has seized laptops, notebooks and computer hard discs from the houses of four youngsters from Thane and Kalyan, who are said to have flown to Baghdad on May 23 to join the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria), which is fighting for a Sunni Muslim-dominated Caliphate in the region. The four, who are in their 20s are Fahad Shaikh, Arif Majeed, Aman Tandel and Shaheen Tanki. Apparently the Iraqi special forces too have no clue on their whereabouts. Read more

Microsoft Corp is planning its biggest round of job cuts in five years as the software maker looks to integrate Nokia Oyj's handset unit, Bloomberg reported, citing people with knowledge of the company's plans. The reductions, expected to be announced as soon as this week, could be in the Nokia unit and the parts of Microsoft that overlap with that business, as well as in marketing and engineering, Bloomberg reported. Read more
