Set to the slowed down version of David Bowie's Hero, the trailer gives a tantalising glimpse of what's awaiting the viewers... and there are dragons for sure!
The plot for the season has been adapted from George RR Martin's fourth and fifth books in the series, A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons respectively.
What I am excited to see -
Stark Daughters - I would like to see Arya get stronger and trained. Have some more allies and secretly in our heart, I want her to be united with John Snow. The duo will make fantastic leadership for the Stark clan. Also, I think Sansa is finally going to stop being naive and become a stronger woman.
Lannisters - Tyrion Lannister will have more strenuous life, yet I hope that I won't be let down when it comes to the only level headed and logical Lannister. More Peter Dinklage never hurt anyone! Cersei Lannister is sure capable of more wicked things. We are counting on it! Hats off to the undying love, even if it's incest. I am a little shaky on Jamie Lannister's behaviour though. I would like him to be a bit more sensible this time. And I am fully aware that I might be hoping in vain.
Khaleesi - Mother of dragons will still face struggles. It's not easy to tame dragons, you know! For how long will catacombs contain them? Being a queen to the freed slaves will not be an easy job. We will have to wait to see her go places with the strength she has. I think Daenerys Targaryen needs to strategise better if she ever plans to cross the Narrow Sea.
John Snow - Of course I want to see John Snow [dishy Kit Harrington]. I think he 'probably knows more'. He will fight hard now that Ygritte is not with him. Vengeance maybe? Snow will continue to be a worthy leader of the crows.
This is what I would like to see and I am quite aware that George RR Martin might now give it all. I just wish the wait to be over soon.
