As Kabir Khan promised, the teaser of his next venture with Salman Khan, Tubelight, is finally out. The director announced last week that he would release the teaser of the film by the end of this month and the trailer would be out in May. While we're still waiting on the trailer, the director kept his word by releasing the first teaser for the film, which also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu.
Khan tweeted the release of the teaser. "Eid manao Tubelight ke saath! Follow @TubelightKiEid! #TubelightKiEid @BeingSalmanKhan @kabirkhankk @amarbutala" and the hashtag '#TubelightKiEid' started trending instantly.

The teaser is 13 seconds long and simply features the phrase 'TubelightKiEid' lighting up on the screen. This particular phrase started trending on Twitter with the release of the teaser with the above mentioned hashtag. The teaser also features a chorus of children saying 'jal jaa...jal jaa' and then cheering in unison when the phrase lights up.
As reported earlier, Kabir Khan revealed that the children used in the chorus were all from Salman's Galaxy Apartments, who he felt would be better than using trained voices. The children were aged 6 to 11 and were told by Salman to do what they had to, epitomising the actor's bond with children, something we have seen in his past films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Harshali Malhotra.
The teaser also came with the official release date of the Salman Khan movie, which is June 23, 2017.
