Virat Kohli and Abhishek Bachchan have unveiled the jersey and trophy of the first ever charitable football match for the magic bus foundation in New Delhi, where they will be competing against each other.
“It was basically to raise money for magic bus which is a great foundation which deals with underprivileged children in sports and education,” said Virat Kohli.
“It’s a great charity we are raising money for and it will also be the launching of my foundation which is the Virat Kohli foundation which also aims to help the underprivileged children as well,” added the Indian cricketer.
The match is organised by the Sahara Group and GS Worldwide Entertainment and will be played between the All Stars Football Club (ASFC), which will include celebrities from the film industry is captained by Jr. Bachcchan and Virat Kohli will captain the All Heart Team, which has host of Indian Cricketers.
“So after lot of hard work we have managed to put together our 1st charity football match which we are here to announce,” Bachchan said.
“We will be playing opposite Virat’s highly accomplish team which will take care of the entertainment and I am pretty sure looking at the quality of our actors team that it will be a comic affair and that will be the entertainment part of it,” said the ‘Bol Bachchan’ star.
The match will be played on 30th March at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
