Varun Dhawan has no dates for his father!

Varun Dhawan, whose Badlapur is slated to hit the theatres this month, is undoubtedly one of the busiest actors of his generation. Since his successful debut in Student Of The Year, Varun has been delivering one hit after the other - Main Tera Hero and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. Currently, Varun is also busy shooting for the sequel of ABCD. And, because of that he has no dates to spare for his father David Dhawan. The filmmaker wants to make another film with his beta after Main Tera Hero, but he will have to wait.

Says a source, "Dhawan Sr has discussed several subjects with Varun, but he hasn't evinced interest. He wants his father to come up with something exciting. But more importantly, Varun is so busy that he actually doesn't have dates for David even if he approves the script." However, the filmmaker denies it saying, "Woh mera beta hai. We will always make a good film. But I can't be selfish. As a father I want him to work with other people. It is good that he works with better directors and better films. I can always wait. I will be doing a film with him only next year."

Interestingly, Varun will start shooting for his brother Rohit's film Dishoom with John Abraham soon this year.
