Actor Frank Sivero has sued TV show The Simpsons for $100 million for allegedly copying his character in Goodfellas, an American crime film.

Sivero, 62, alleged The Simpsons character Louie is based on his Frankie Carbone from the classic 1990 film, reported TMZ. According to Sivero's lawsuit against FOX, Louie, who is Fat Tony's henchman on the show, appeared in 15 more episodes between his debut in 1991 and April 27, 2014.

Sivero said in the suit that he lived in the same apartment complex as some of The Simpsons writers back in 1989 and they knew all about the character he created and developed for Goodfellas.
