'Star Wars' Spoilers: James Bond has a cameo in 'The Force Awakens'!

This is going to be one long, tiring week as we try to avoid spoilers. But try as we might, it’s impossible in our line of business. We have already heard about the plot and now we’re being told Her Majesty’s most dangerous weapon or to be fair, the man who portrays that character has a special appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

According to an article on EW.com, Daniel Craig has made a cameo appearance in the new Star Wars movie and 007 plays a Stormtrooper in the movie. In a scene where Daisy Ridley’s character Rey is captured, she tries using her Jedi mind-reading skills on a Stormtrooper as she tells him: “You will remove these restraints and leave this cell with the door open.”

This is a hat-tip to the scene from A New Hope where Obi-Wan Kenobi tells a stormtrooper: “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.” 

Sadly, Daisy’s character nascent Jedi skills aren’t enough to convince Craig’s character, who says: “I’ll tighten those restraints, scavenger scum.”
