Sony FORCING Kapil Sharma to patch up with Sunil Grover?

The Kapil Sharma Show runs well in the Indian household, majorly because of the fun element the entire team brings to the table together. With Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Ali Asgar and everyone else being puzzle pieces to the big jigsaw, each one has their own contribution to the high TRPs of the show.

Recently, following a shocking fight with Sunil on a flight where Kapil verbally and physically abused him, the ace comedian who plays Dr Mashoor Gulati on the show has called it quits. He didn't report on the sets to shoot the episode last night and this morning, he broke his silence on the whole fiasco and lambasted Kapil as well.

Now, Kapil has given out a statement saying that he will be going and meeting Sunil tonight at his house and sort out the differences. Whether they manage to do it or not, we aren't sure. But one thing which we have heard is that more than Kapil, the channel wants the two to patch up.

According to a source, "Sony is fearing huge losses because a chunk of the target audiences tune in on the show to watch Sunil. Last time, when Sunil left Comedy Nights, the TRPs had dropped badly. This is the only show on Sony which is working really well. So the makers don't really want to take a risk. Hence they have asked Kapil to go ahead and get the issue sorted. Meanwhile, Sunil has told the team he'll be back only after he gets a price hike, which is very high."
