Shraddha Kapoor hurts herself during shooting

Actor Shraddha Kapoor was recently injured on the sets of her upcoming film. While shooting in South Africa for director Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 2, she ended up hurting herself and needed medical attention.

A source from the sets tells us, “There is a scene in the movie where Shraddha had to kneel and talk to her co-star Aditya Roy Kapoor. But, unfortunately there were a few broken pieces of glass on the floor and Shraddha cut her knees badly. She started bleeding as the cuts were deep."

But Shraddha insisted on finishing the shot first before getting any medical help. Post the shoot, the doctor attended to her and it was found that her wounds were deep.

Producer Bhushan Kumar confirms, “Shraddha is a very hardworking actor. She ended up hurting her knees, but continued shooting despite the injury and didn’t complain even once. In fact, we didn’t realise she had hurt herself until the shoot was over and she told us about it.”

Sources insist that Shraddha is leaving no stone unturned for this role, which is probably her biggest so far. The film will have similar elements as in the 1990  film Aashiqui. The original film had launched actors Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal. And now the makers are hoping that the new movie will do wonders for the careers of its lead pair.
