Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to play insomniacs in Vikas Bahl's 'Shandaar'?

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt might just be up for experimentation yet again and this time, the two of them are gearing up to play insomniacs in Vikas Bahl's next, 'Shandaar'. 

A little birdie tells us that Shahid and Alia both play quirky characters in 'Shandaar' and they meet at a wedding where they bond over their common problem -'of no sleep'.  The film maker and his team have done a lot of research on the subject and given Vikas's directorial credentials, he might just pull off another stunner.

Plus, technically the role should be easy for Shahid who calls himself a self proclaimed 'insomniac'. Touted as India's biggest destination film, 'Shandaar' will also star Pankaj Kapur and will release sometime next year.
