Shah Rukh Khan-Salman Khan temple case: Next hearing to be on January 24

A local court today fixed January 24 as the next date of hearing in a case filed against actors Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan for allegedly going inside a temple wearing shoes. Special CJM Sanjay Kumar Singh watched a video clip made available by the plaintiff and fixed January 24 as the next date of hearing in the case.

"A scene with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan inside a Kali temple on the sets of TV reality show 'Bigg Boss' was broadcast by Colors channel in December last year," petitioner Bharat Rajput, president of Hindu Mahasabha's Meerut unit alleged. According to Rajput, Shah Rukh Khan had gone to the sets of 'Bigg Boss' to promote his movie "Dilwale". A promo of the episode showed Shah Rukh and Salman inside the Kali temple with their shoes on, he alleged.

He claimed he has written to the programme director and the TV channel management in this regard but they have not responded as yet.
