Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar 3 seems to have gotten itself into trouble with scriptwriter Nilesh Girkar, who claims that the film's story has been penned by him and that the filmmaker has not given him due credit. Furthermore, he has claimed that he hasn't been paid the entire amount due to him.
Girkar had approached the Bombay High Court on January 30, 2017, following which the court has asked Varma to hold a special screening of the movie for him. Justice Gautam Patel has also asked the filmmaker to deposit Rs 6.2 lakh in court as payment settlement amount, until the verdict is declared.
The director has been instructed to hold the screening for Girkar and his lawyers before March 20. The duo will see the film and decide how much of the script has been used.
