'Scream Queens' star Billie Lourd joins 'American Horror Story' cast for new season

Billie Lourd has secured a spot in Ryan Murphy's heavily guarded seventh season of American Horror Story.

According to a report in Entertainment Weekly, the Scream Queens star will join the AHS veterans Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters in the election-themed season of the show.

Lourd is best known for the role of earmuff-wearing Chanel No. 3 in the horror-comedy show.

Lourd, the granddaughter of Debbie Reynolds and daughter of Carrie Fisher, played a small part along with her mother in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will be back for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
