Salman Khan installs bird feeder station at his house

Salman Khan and his family share a love for flora and fauna. Their leafy garden in Galaxy Apartment is proof of that and so is the Panvel farmhouse where they grow their own vegetables and have an area for their domestic animals.

The superstar has many dogs, horses and farm animals at his farmhouse. In 2011, Salman even donated a photograph with his two pet dogs to the Bombay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to spread awareness about animal welfare. Arbaaz Khan too has adopted a stray dog named Kali from an animal welfare organisation and she stays at their Panvel farmhouse.

And while the Khan family love their canine friends, the love for animals extends to birds as well. Salman has recently installed a bird feeding station outside his house to feed his chirpy friends. And his foundation Being Human is going to create awareness for the same.

There is a certain joy to watch birds at a feeder from the comfort of one's home.. Backyard bird feeding will significantly help bird populations. And feeding certainly can help individual birds in your neighbourhood.
