Reality star Ajaz Khan gives one lakh to a riot affected girl

Ajaz Khan, best known as the entertainer of Bigg Boss 7 is all set to donate Rs one lakh to a girl who got married in a relief camp in the aftermath of the Muzaffarnagar riots. Around 500 girls got married as Akhilesh Yadav's Uttar Pradesh government, promised Rs one lakh to any girl getting married at the relief camp. However, several girls are yet to receive the promised amount as a result of which the in-laws have sent them back to their marital homes! Says Ajaz who saw one such report on a channel and was horrified.

"Two days ago I was watching this channel that kept flashing news about 'Dange ki dulhan'. I was shocked, it was like making fun of humanity. I called up the channel and got details about it. When I heard what was happening I offered to give Rs one lakh to a girl. Immediately after that three-four politicians have also come forward to help." He feels that instead of sitting at home, talking about it or showing sympathy it's important to do something about it. Ajaz will be going to Delhi to meet the girl and her family in a couple of days. "Before that I will see to it that the money reaches them. If possible I would have helped all the girls," he adds.
