Production for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' begins, Shreya Ghoshal records first song

Shreya Ghoshal has recorded a song for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming magnum opus Padamavati and the singer calls the track a "landmark" in her career.

The 32-year-old 'Dewaani Mastaani' singer took to Twitter to share the news with her fans.

The bong melody queen appreciated the 53-year-old director's music composition in the film and went on writing,

The film will reportedly star Bhansali's favourite pair Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

Ghoshal, whose Bollywood playback singing career began with Bhansali's Devdas, has also worked with him on his other movies Bajirao Mastani, Ram Leela and Saawariya.
