Krushna Abhishek proposes to Kashmira Shah

Last year Ravi Dubey proposed to Sargun Mehta on the sets of Nach Baliye and tied the knot a few days ago. This time Krushna Abhishek went down on his knees and popped the question to his long-time beau Kashmira Shah after dancing to One, two three four from Chennai Express. He also promised her that they will get married in the next six months! Says Abhishek, “Kashmira was completely taken aback because I have never spoken about marriage in public. My family hasn’t been cool about me dating Kashmira. For a year my mama (Govinda) had stopped speaking to me. Now, I think my dad is opening up to the idea and hopefully by next year, things should be sorted. Nach Baliye is a special show for me as it was my debut TV show.

Since then I have done several shows and people have been appreciating me. Kashmira has made a lot of difference to my life, so I thought it was the perfect time and place to propose.”

Abhishek, however, is yet to work out the details. “That’s because I have been very busy. I was in Bangkok shooting for Entertainment in which I play Akshay Kumar’s friend. Now Kashmira and I will get down to planning,” smiles Abhishek. But haven’t they been living together? “Not really. I haven’t shifted out of my house but yes on weekends we are together.”
