Kamaal R Khan leaked scenes from Ajay Devgn's 'Shivaay' on Twitter and then gives a clarification...
Self proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan aka KRK had leaked Ajay Devgn's upcoming flick Shivaay online earlier this morning. Apparently, he recorded the opening scenes of the film from a theatre in Dubai and posted the video on his Twitter account. This was done to put Ajay Devgn's film at a backdrop but guess this attempt backfired on KRK himself.
This act of KRK violated the piracy laws and the makes of Shivaay decided to take strict action against him. Though KRK deleted the said tweets sometime later but the damage had already been done.
As per a report on BollywoodLife, the producers of the film, Reliance Entertainment, have filed a case against KRK and the COO of Reliance Entertainment, Shibasish Sarkar, told BL, "We are taking strict legal action and filing a complaint with the cyber crime in Mumbai. We have also written to all the social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook too because when any kind of piracy happens, we take stringent action including criminal action.”
Even though KRK had deleted the tweets, he will most likely still be in trouble as Sarkar further said, "“Yes, we have taken all the video screenshots, so there is proof that he has been videotaping from inside the hall. We have traced the hall in Dubai also and we have started to take action against the theatre owners also and we have asked them how someone is taking video from inside the hall. We have proof that he had started pirating the film from inside the hall.”
Now KRK has come out and given a clarification on twitter saying, "For your information, I haven’t recovered anything at all. I took a pic of Title Shivaay only.”
Now, this is contrary to what the screenshots of his tweets show. In the above screenshots, it's clearly mentioned, "First scene of #Shivaay"
It all started when Ajay Devgn had posted an audio recording on Twitter axposing KRK, when he went on slamming Shivaay. The Ajay Devgn directorial is slated to hit theatres in India this Friday
