Kapil Sharma and his gang are back to entertain the nation with a special episode shot with Shah Rukh Khan in New Delhi.
Kapil Sharma returned to television with The Kapil Sharma Show following his fallout with Colours. Entertaining a huge live audience in the capital at the Indira Gandhi indoor stadium, Kapil Sharma's first guest was Shah Rukh Khan, promoting his latest release, Fan.
Kapil and Shah Rukh, known for their witty one-liners and sarcastic comments, lived up to the expectations of an excited crowd. Among cheers and applause for the superstar, Shah Rukh was quick to reply to all the jokes cracked on him.
The special episode was appropriately adapted to its location and had a lot of digs at the CM, odd-even rule and even the extravagance of Delhi. The co-comedians Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakraborty, Chandan Prabhakar and of course, Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Ali Asgar and Kiku Sharda dressed as a begum and nawab respectively to kick-off the comedy. What followed next was the highlight of the episode, Sunil Grover aka Gutthi, as a Haryanvi woman police officer. Grover was undeniably the funniest of them all and Shah Rukh played along, being the good sport that he usually is. Grover also transformed to mirror the look of Gaurav in the film Fan and break into a jig on 'Jabra fan.' SRK too showed off his commendable dancing skills and spontaneity making the entire crowd dance to his steps, literally.
Shah Rukh romanticised about his childhood and shared a few anecdotes about Gauri Khan as well. King Khan also called Kapil and his team one of the most talented bunch in the industry today and asked them to give the show all the support and love.
The Kapil Sharma Show will have a new format and the favourite characters of Dadi, Gutthi and Palak will also be missing from this new show.
