Salman's reference to Katrina comes from the song "Mashallah Mashallah", which was picturised on the pair in Kabir's 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger.
Katrina, 31, a British-Indian, is daughter of a British businessman of Kashmiri descent, Mohammed Kaif and Suzanne Turquotte.
While Salman has been linked to many Bollywood actresses post his break-up with Katrina a few years back, the "Bang Bang!" star has been going strong with actor Ranbir Kapoor.
