Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor's 'Singham Returns' roars at the box office

Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Returns' seem to have an unprecedented opening week of sorts! While 'Singham Returns' being an out-and-out Rohit Shetty entertainer was expected to open hugely at the box office, no one could have gauged the response it eventually received!

After thumping over Salman Khan's 'Kick', the Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor starrer raked in a whopping Rs 30 crore on its first day. Following up the Independence Day collections, 'Singham Returns' dropped a bit as expected on Saturday collecting about Rs 20 crore and then netting in another magnanimous Rs 23 crore on Sunday.

As of now. the film has performed tremendously well, collecting in the range of over Rs 75 crore at the domestic box office. This year, the fastest film to reach the Rs 100 crore mark was 'Kick'. 'Kick' took five days to touch the century mark and it seems Ajay's 'Singham Returns' will also go the same way! 

The grueling action sequences and the high octane stunts has been making news ever since the promo release and the masala package that the film offers has been loved by all. Even Sylvester Stallone seemed to be bowled over by Ajay Devgn and he called 'Singham Returns' the Indian 'Rambo'

Going by the pace, 'Singham Returns' is all set to become Ajay's fastest film to enter the coveted 100 crore club!
